About the Role
We’re seeking pediatric speech-language pathologists to join our team as independent contractors (1099). Services are provided in children’s homes, daycares, or schools across Brooklyn and/or Manhattan. Our clients typically range from ages 1–12, with goals that may include language development, articulation, phonology, motor speech development, AAC, play skills, social communication, early literacy. Caseloads are built around your availability, interests, and preferred neighborhoods. This role offers a balance of independence and ongoing support, allowing the freedom to shape your sessions and schedule, while staying connected to a team that values collaboration and open communication. Compensation to be commensurate based on experience.
Responsibilities

Provide play-based, individualized speech and language therapy

Offer caregiver coaching and support within natural environments

Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, psychologists, and other providers

Maintain timely session notes and communication with families

Travel within assigned neighborhoods of Brooklyn and/or Manhattan
Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

New York State SLP License
-
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)

Current Professional Liability Insurance

Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience

Interest or experience in early childhood, home-based therapy, or caregiver coaching

Strong parent-communication skills
